As Communications Manager, Abby oversees our communications team as they work to share our story and to facilitate conservations and collaboration.

After graduating from Penn State University in 2014 with bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Visual Journalism, Abby pursued a master’s degree in Sustainability Solutions from ASU. During her studies she took a leave of absence to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo. Abby spent three years learning from and working with counterparts in her community to improve food security and natural resource management. Upon finishing her service, she returned to Arizona and completed her master’s degree in May 2020. Her goal now is to use multimedia storytelling to inform and inspire solutions to sustainability challenges. In Abby's free time she can be found hiking, camping, reading (of course) and judging her friends for their poor taste in pizza. (Because at the end of the day, she is and always will be a Jersey girl.)
